SUN KISSED

“Why do we love the sea?   It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think.”  --Robert Henri

In Florida for work and rather happy to have my skin kissed by the sun this winter!

Weekdays are spent... in court.
Saturday was spent... on the beach.
Sunday... it rained.

When I'm here it makes me wonder why I don't live by a beach.  I like Dallas because it's where I was born and raised, my family lives in Dallas, but there is a part of me that has always wanted to live by the ocean.

Being outside in nature is where I feel closest to God and easiest to commune with Him.
When I'm surrounded by all that He's created it helps me see the small things in life and takes me away from what the world deems as important.  I like that my mind feels free here.

These work trips are tiring during the week but this Saturday was delightful.  Here are some pictures from that day.  PS - Watch out for hungry birds on the beach, especially when you bust out snacks!  They REALLY want you to share.

SIGNED:  HAPPY BEAUTIFUL MONDAY.

Love your pictures! Gulls are rather intrepid scavengers, speaking from a personal experience involving a rather lovely piece of cheese hidden in my bag and a trip to the beach.
