DAY 2 - the meaning behind your blog name

If you look up to the url, the title of my blog reads, The Brighter The Sunshine. So where did it come from?

Ever heard of Aqualung? Matt Hales is Aqualung, and is a singer/songwriter from England. One song you might know of his is, "Strange and Beautiful" which was his debut single and was also featured in a Volkswagon commercial in 2002.

Another Aqualung song you might recognize is entitled, "Brighter Than Sunshine". When this song came out, I became enthralled with it. Lyrics like these spoke powerfully to me.

"What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
Brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, i don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine
And it's brighter than sunshine"

"Love will remain a mystery
But give me your hand and you will see
Your heart is keeping time with me"

So in the first set of lyrics, second line it reads, "Love burns brighter than sunshine". I love that and still do. Thus the name for my blog... not exactly the same wording but this song and that lyric is where my blog name originated from.

In Matt Hale's bio he writes, "When I sing into the microphone in the studio, I’m whispering my secrets in people’s ears."

I feel that's what our blogs are like too.
