Living in the Concrete Jungle forces some pet owners to walk their dogs in parking lots (see: above photo). And so, the other day while walking the crazy Tator Tot, I noticed they had changed the billboard in front of my apartments.
[Above is what was previously on the billboard]
Now, the same billboard reflects The Dallas Museum of Nature & Science expansion project that is moving to Victory Park (ahem, smack dab in front of my living accommodations).
More about the project can be found here.
The renderings appear nice as Dallas hired architect Thom Mayne, a 2005 Prizker Prize winner, of Morphosis Architects to design the structure. As the completion date is set for 2013, with groundbreaking planned for this fall, I can kiss my summer silence goodbye and welcome more Dallas construction disturbances.

The 14-story structure appears to not block my downtown view however, in the next upcoming months to years, I'll be walking Tot amongst many, I'm sure, extremely cordial and polite, hard-hat wearing men. That said, Hooters lunchtime business should pick up as well.
SIGNED: GREETINGS FALL.. I'LL WEAR MY HEADPHONES FOR YOU
