The trick is not how much pain you feel - but how much joy you feel. Any idiot can feel pain. Life is full of excuses to feel pain, excuses not to live, excuses, excuses, excuses.

Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

It's been a wonderful Saturday thus far. Because I stayed in last night, crashing at around 10:30ish, I arose to sun beams streaming through my blinds at 8am. Not bad, not bad and eventually rolled out around 8:30.
No, I didn't think it was going to be at ALL a warm day but I wasn't expecting it to be so cold either. In my "I-need-to-get-into-shape-before-Kauai" mindset, I threw on my workout clothes and headed for the Katy Trail.
My plantar fasciitis has yet to go away resulting in a good four months of awful heel-throbbing pain every time I run... soooo I was just thinking I would walk this morning. Oh noooooo! Not today... not when it was freezing out and I could in fact see my very own breath! I ran... a lovely six-mile VERY brisk run... in the freezing cold... and honestly it wasn't that bad. I prefer running in the cold... and there were other crazies out there too to keep me company.
Now for the rest of my lovely Saturday:
-met up with Nicole at Cafe Brazil for some to-go coffee and yummy breakfast
-took it to Northpark where we met Tania
-illegally brought our to-go goods in to see Juno
-LOVED IT!
-shopped shoes, but not really since neither of us bought any...
-except Tania who bought FOUR pairs
-said bye to Tania
-went to Sur La Table to see Timmy and enjoy a nice espresso
-ventured over to see Marie and Gary in their amazingly beautiful HP mansion of a house!
-said goodbye to Nicole
-took a very brief siesta
For the rest of my lovely Saturday:
-dinner with co-worker Wes and friends
-MAVS game
-out afterwards... that is if I'm still awake by then
