So I've been struggling over this prompt for a number of days now, even asking many of my friends whom they would trade places with for a day. Guess what? No one had a good answer. Somehow this question just has just been a tricky one.
Sure, it would be really awesome to switch lives with a George Cloony, Adrian Peterson, a food-taster, that guy who created Facebook, Gieselle Bundchen, Matthew Bellamy, Bill Gates, Oprah, or even Justin Bieber. Why not. For one day, just to see what it's like... who wouldn't.
I guess.
Seriously though... I wouldn't. I think that's why this prompt has been so difficult. I like this little life that was given to me and wouldn't want to switch my life with anyone for one day... unless I could create that person. So instead of switching lives with a real person, I'm going to make up a person if that's okay... perhaps this person does exist somewhere. If they do... props to them, this is the person I would switch lives with for one day (and more if they'd let me).
- Someone who lives near the ocean where its always sunny during the day (but not too hot) and in the 60's at night where its just cool enough for a hooded sweatshirt and shorts.
- This person loves to learn and is always on a quest to discover something new... life to them is an adventure and they live with a vision to see something new in everything they encounter.
- This person does not have too much but rather... too little and never is worried because they know that they'll always, always have just enough.
- An alarm clock is not needed as this person wakes when the sun rises.
- Lovingly married, a network of supportive friends and family surround this person and live nearby.
- This person goes make-up less and shoeless every single day.
- Also a painter, this person creates a living by selling artwork, along with vegetables and plants grown from a magnificent well-cultivated garden.
- This person is a giver and a helper to all whom they come across.
- At least once a week this person invites others over to help cook a meal. They laugh and enjoy the evening on several blankets laid out across the ocean sand. When night falls this person and the group bundle up amongst themselves, sitting in silence, ending the night listening to waves crash.
- This person carries with them an effortless confidence that is not arrogant in any way but instead loving, encouraging and motivating to others.
- Someone who loves the Lord, this person knows that everything given to them was paid at a price... they walk by faith and not by sight... nothing is about this person but rather about who they serve and also others around them.
- This person is always thankful for their many blessings and often wonders how life for them is so good when so many others struggle.
- This person is in love with living life.
