30 DAYS/DAY 3

DAY 3 - a picture of you and your friends

So, it was a little hard to find a picture with all the people I spend the most time with... but this one is it!


This picture was taken last year for my 29th birthday. I love my group of friends.. especially my girls, aka the "girlcrew" or "united nations" as we like to say. Here's a little bit of info behind each person in the picture (starting in front, left to right).

Casey (Caso) - Friends for 5 or so years now... could be longer. She has a degree in fashion and likes queso (hence, her name) People think she looks like Isla Fisher- I agree.

Okay, that's me... hi.

Trynh - T says that whenever we first met, she didn't think we'd be friends b/c she thought I'd be stuck up. Fortunately she learned better. This girl speaks 6 languages, I"m pretty sure, and is a scientist... miss smarty pants! She was recently nominated for Maxim's hometown hottie and rightly so... gorgeous girl, inside and out.

Albert - Alby lives in my building a few floors up. He is the most witty and clever person I know. Though he's not a graphic designer, he loves Photoshopping his face and his friends faces onto very interesting pictures.

Erika - This lovely lady and I met through mutual friends last year and our friendship took off from there. Bilingual and feisty, this girl adds some snap to my life. She's creative, so smart and probably one of our most favorite things to do is discuss relationships.

Zuzana - Originally from Slovokia... she came to the U.S. to play tennis for Baylor. Z is the only girl that pulls off the "Z dress" and when I go shopping, I instantly can pick out something she would wear... it's just a thing. Z likes drinking clear liquids that are not water in water bottles... she also loves to dance. We try to get together for weekly lunches b/c she works downtown too.. and those are the best times to talk about all things boy.

Alecia - Alecia just graduated from culinary school. I keep her around because she makes me food. Ehh, just kidding... kinda. Such a sweet sweet sweet girl. Did I say sweet. I used to think she was soft-spoke, when we met 5 years back but that soon changed after I learned that "Barbie has needs too". Ha.

Alex E. (dark hair) - Alex lives in my building and has a love for flowers. Just kidding, but he does work for the Dallas Arboretum and his place smells nice. Alex loves smoking hookah and recently found a love for Foursquare.

Carrie - Carrie and I volunteer together at Ckids. The story behind our friendship is quite an interesting one. She dated my ex after we broke up. I never thought we'd be good friends but amazingly enough, we are! We have many things in common from families to little sisters getting married before us and interestingly enough she's now girlfriend of a guy I graduated highschool with. Crazy.

Iva - Iva is also from Slovokia and is Z's former roomate. She also played tennis for Baylor and I pretty much wish my legs were as long as hers. Definitely has the model features of the group.

Alex H (blond hair) - Hmm, how do I put this. Easy- Alex is my ex. We've been friends since college and still remain very close because of mutual friends and the fact that we just enjoy being around eachother.
