GRADUATION SUPPORT

Last weekend my friend Alecia graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with a degree in culinary arts! Wondeful... amazing! As Julia Child would say, "Find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it." That's what... shall we now say, CHEF Alecia did! Attending a culinary school's graduation is quite the experience because...

(a) We look like we're watching some sort of cult take in its newest inductees. Have to say, those chef hats are quite the statement- welcome to our secret cooking society... chop chop chop!

(b) Speaking of the "chop chop chop", check out this excited family that sat directly below us.

Yes, you got it right... that's a meat cleaver and yes, that's a spatula... and a fork (man in 2nd photo). This family was entirely too much fun to watch. The lady sitting at the edge of her seat was so antsy with excitement just so she could wave/hack her spatula around in the air when her beloved "Erika's" name was called... and then the meat cleaver... chop chop chop, go momma go! Only at a culinary school's graduation will you see such things. Congrats Chef Alecia!

The Girlcrew has been so supportive lately. This summer there have been many things that have brought us together: going aways, coming homes, graduations, heartbreaks, brunches, birthdays, job celebrations and the list could go on and on. Throughout it all we have been eachother's support, thus making me think that we are very much like... a bra for eachother! Nope, no need to explain.
