Thank be the Lord, I made it to work… and no, that really wouldn’t be the “glass of sweet tea” but you catch my drift.
How hum… things I have enjoyed this Thursday include:
- new song on KEXP podcast by Nada Surf “See These Bones” (already listened to it a grand total of 12 freaking times)
- Langerado music festival in Florida that has some of my all-time favorite groups (ahh, I am teleporting myself come March 6th). Greatness groups include: Thievery Corp, Ghostland O, 311, Beastie Boys, G-Love and Special Sauce, REM and Ben Folds... you see what I mean, teleportion (is that even a word?) begins March 6th, are you with me??
- Big Man/Little Man… a toy I got in a children’s meal deal from Taco Hell (probably have had him for 3 years and that’s probably the last time I dined outside the bun). He makes cool noises when you press his feet and fly him around your office.
- this color coated book shelf which I am in love with and will attempt creating in the next place I move
- Jack Johnson... always a delight
- and this, in the book It Was on Fire When I Lay Down on It, by Robert Fulghum
The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be.
- And if this doesn't make your day, I don't know what else will!

According to my witty meter, you are off the charts... I loved it. You know I got shot at on the highway for that kind of stuff... ;-)
I need to switch gears on my blog and start putting some fun facts and interesting stuff about my day there... You're silly.
TTYL.
