Oh HO-HO-HO

Those crazy Aussies!... this year Santa's down under can no longer give a cheerful "Ho HO HO" because women might find the phrase too offensive. It's now "Ha Ha Ha" or "Hee Hee Hee". As far as I'm concerned, a hoe is something you dig the ground with and if I heard "Hee Hee Hee" from a man, it would personally give me the dirty old man creeps. I can hear it now in my head [deep man voice] "HEE HEE HEE"... read the story here.

Wednesday begins this week's Oh HO-HO-HO party OVERLOAD. Thankfully on Saturday my family has floor seats to the Nutcracker at the Bass Performance Hall. As a kid, I scribbled in my journal that I wanted to be a beautiful ballerina when I "grew up". Well, as I'm typing this, I sadly am not wearing my tutu or toe-sheos. Disappointed? Yep, me too. :)

Two weeks till Christmas... and oh HO-HO-HO I already feel the month hurrying along. Just thinking about the things I want to do and get done makes my head hurt... a to-do list would be best- but I've never been great at those- Plus... once I make one I lose it 10 seconds later. Agh! All in all, my hand just works better for a notepad!

Oh HO-HO-HO, I don't even want to think about the rush. I just want to soak it all in... let my eyes rest and glaze over the twinkle lights until they all blend into a hazey glow of melted color (thinking... Skittles for some reason).

-to sip homeade cocoa out on a chilly balcony (pref w/a cute boy)
-to watch Elf because Buddy just fills me with a young child-like Christmas excitment that I miss as an adult.
-to play "Baby It's Cold Outside" on repeat on the iPod.
-to cozy up in a blanket and legwarmers beside the fire.
-to dip my candy cane in hot chocolate.
-to eat too many mushy marshmallows left over from the hot chocolate!
-to taste the first snowflake of the winter (if it ever falls!)

But all I REALLY want for Christmas is to
