"ODE TO A HEART SO PURE"

Hard to believe its been over a month since I've last posted anything.
And it's not that things have been to busy...
I just haven't had much to write about.

As the last light flickers from candle's blaze
As two words spoken bring forth a craze
As tears cloud vision and create a daze
Be sure to remember her smile

As those who loved her fall in pain
As prayers and wishes are made in vain
As memories drive the mind insane
Be sure to remember her smile

As night brings forth a somber day
As the fabric of life begins to fray
As the alphabet reads from Z to A
Be sure to remember her smile

As you want to give up when it's too much
As you pass the time with worries and such
As you miss her song, her voice, her touch
Be sure to remember her smile
